This year we had many elaborate decorations. Our theme this year was Las Vegas. Each cabinet member was in charge of a different  section of the gym. My section was the back wall/stage. We put up a stage and covered it in gold paper and created a skirt out of gossamer. We made a curtain, and behind the curtain we cut out "showgirls" and created silhouettes.  The stage was where the court went so we also painted large king and queen cards. Some of the other decorations were Paris with the Eiffel Tower, the Bellagio, the MGM Grand, Venetian, New York New York, and the center piece was the Sphinx with the Luxor.
